Well, honestly, I hate this so called 'about me'-section. I mean I could tell you a bunch of things about me here but really, what I am about you have to see for yourself.
Somehow I think you might wanna know some basics, before you decide to host me.
I'm a daughter to two, sister to three, cousin to eight and certainly consider myself as a friend to many.
My preferred name is Katie. I grew up in a nice place in Germany, right by the Black Forest, lots of nature around me. Very small town. I always felt uncomfortable there for some reason. Stuck. So when I turned 18, I left home and moved to Berlin. I stayed there for a couple months and then moved to the US. Ever since my life is all about travels and adventures. I lived in New Orleans for a year and then in Seattle for another. In May '15 I had to say Goodbye again though and headed back to Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I'm a student my travels are always low budget. That's why I'm really happy something like Couchsurfing exists and people are welcoming like-minded people to their homes. It can create so many friendships!
I love meeting new, interesting people that share one main interest of mine - traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving on the north shore of Hawaii was breathtaking!
Another of my favorite things was seeing and exploring around the Grand Canyon. I love to see what nature can create.

I'm fluent in German an English and somewhat fluent in French and Spanish. I enjoy different languages and am pretty good at learning them.
