Hey guys,
I'm an easy-going biologist who would choose a pair of gumboots over stilettos anytime. I love spending time outdoors, but don't mind working late in the lab as well. If I could, I would spend every free minute with some kind of aquatic activity (swimming, snorkeling, diving, whatever) or baking, which is another passion of mine. I grew up in Germany, but spend a good portion of my childhood abroad as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Currently I love a colorful blend ranging between the Black Keys, Coldplay, Linkin Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse, Pearl Jam, Elton John, Queen, Beatles, Led Zeppelin and a lot of other stuff from the 50's up until today. If I have to spend time studying in the library again I often go for Chopin or Mozart.

Movies: I could watch a Disney Movie anytime, but I am also a big fan of the Marvel universe. I also like documentaries, TV series such as Game of Thrones, Outlander, or Peaky Blinders and "oldies" like the Breakfast Club or Grease.

Books: I like to read some "classics" like Moby Dick, Oliver Twist or books by Jule Verne. Terry Pratchet is also always great.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love baking! Give me an oven, any kind of bowl for mixing ingredients and some kind of pan that is oven-proof and that can hold a cake dough and I'll treat you to some dessert any time! I preffer working with as much chocolate as possible, but I can whip up fruity desserts as well. ;-)
