ABOUT ME

I'm from a tiny village in the East of Germany and I've always dreamed of travelling and discovering the world one day. And here I am...living my dream in Australia for the past 15 years. I walk through life with an open mind and heart and love to experience new things. I'm adventurous and love a new challenge every now and then, so I decided to move to Chile to teach English and German in 2014-15. Back in Australia now and travelling to Europe regularly.

Everything in life happens for a good reason. Don't take life too seriously and have fun because life is short.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I recently moved to Chile and won't have a couch to offer, however, I'm happy to meet up with other like minded people and exchange laughter, experiences and fun!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't used CS as a host a lot, however, I've been hosted by some great people and want to return their great hospitality in the same way one day! I'm going to couchsurfing meetings every now and then and hope to have more CS encounters in the future!

Interests

I'm a health and fitness freak! Which doesn't mean I don't drink alcohol or eat chocolate! I'm very active and am always looking for new places with great food.

I love foreign cultures and languages, especially French and Spanish. Need to improve my Spanish but can offer English, German and French in return!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love David Attenborough's Planet Earth and Human Planet and any foreign movies, especially French films! Music is vital to me. I love sitting in a bar with live music! I also love reading but recently had not much time to do so!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I listened to my heart and had the courage to escape my 'ordinary' life back home to discover that there is so much more to life than worrying about a CV or a conventional career path.

I'm an English and German teacher and happy to teach anyone who is interested. I've lived in many different countries and am happy to share my experience!
