Overview
About Me
At age fourteen, Kathrine discovered the challenges existing in the world, when participating in a cultural exchange trip to Uganda. She witnessed a reality beyond first world problems; a world with struggles far beyond her imagination and so her perspective was forever changed.
After restlessness with the traditional high school life in Denmark, she continued expanding her cultural knowledge at the international Pre-college Red Cross Nordic United World College in Norway. She discovered her many passions including Photography and Art, which led to enrollment at Savannah College of Art and Design. With about a year left, Kathrine have studied her degree in three different continents and explored dozens of countries on her journey.
She tells the intimate stories of people and places around the world, not only through Photography, also filmmaking and art. She seeks to develop projects that can combine the arts and the giving, to improve the condition of the human species, in whichever way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love exploring, seeing new places and most importantly meet new people. I feel that when you couchsurf you meet the locals of the place, and get a greater inside to the culture and the place you are staying in.
Likewise I can expand my cultural awareness and knowledge by meeting people from around the world when I am staying home myself.
