Hey everybody. I'm a teacher at Growing Wild Forest School, which is based off of the waldkindergarten model from Europe. My organization was previously known as Asheville Forest School. growingwildforestschool.org I also teach voice and piano lessons.

I'm a Burner and creative person (I say that like those are separate attributes... haha) as well as an intellectual, and a classically trained musician. I love meeting new people and learning their stories. I cook reasonably well and enjoy the company of animals. I'm solid and honest about my boundaries, and respectful of others' as a rule. I'm empathic, conscientious and clean up after myself (leave no trace.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Compassion is the way to build a better and brighter world. Sharing, and giving, and teaching and learning from each other strengthens the human community. One of my life goals is to interact with as many people who are different from me, who are from different backgrounds than me, as possible. I want to learn as much as I can about the human experience. And I know that sharing stories and experiences can help each other along our journeys, if that's what we want.
