Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I know a few friends who have tried it out and I've always been a little skeptical and wary but they've assured me that it's worth a try. I'd really like to learn to be a bit more at ease with people I've just met.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've sailed, steered and manned a three-masted barquentine ship for five days as part of a cadet corp training program when I was sixteen (I climbed a mast! It was pretty groovy). I didn't throw up a single time, which is the amazing thing.
