Hello! We are Kathryn & Trevor, and we are on a round-the-world trip with our two best friends!
We recently quit our jobs, sold our stuff, and set on a journey of slowly making our way from Thailand, back West. We are in our late-twenties, love travel (obviously), adventure and trying new things. Before we start a family, we want to see as much of the world as we can. We are hoping to wander new streets, eat delicious-local food, volunteer and photograph our way around the world. Travel is a great blessing and we are hoping to find a balance of work and play.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are truly looking to experience the cities we visit from a local perspective. Tourist locations are great for what they are, and show you breathtaking sites, but we are looking to dig a little deeper.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Indie. Most people say they listed to everything, but we truly do listen to a bit of everything. From country to indie to gospel, we aren't picky.

Movies - Trevor is a huge movie buff, his favorite is xxx. Kathryn can't seem to stay awake through a full movie, so we'll leave that answer to Trevor.

Books - Trevor xx . Kathryn - I just finished Little Princes, a memoir about a guy that opens an orphanage for children subject to Child Trafficking in Nepal; it's so inspiring.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At the beginning of this trip, we both took to the water and got our Open Water Scuba Diving Certifications, so we're excited to put it to use a few times throughout our journey!
