About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Life begins where your comfort zone ends
ABOUT ME
I'm all about having enriching experiences and meeting inspiring people.
Travelling, performing, and spending time in nature are my favourite ways to make beautiful memories.
Despite my love of history, arts and culture, I'm not likely to spend my holidays in museums and art galleries. I much prefer to get out and explore a city on foot, go to concerts, and hop on a bike and ride out to the countryside or climb to a high altitude spot where I can take gorgeous vista shots.
My friends say I'm lively, full of positive energy, caring, and considerate. They also say I don't take shit from anyone. But don't worry - I'm very diplomatic ;)
PHILOSOPHY
I try not to take myself too seriously, but if I had to choose a mantra to live by, it would be "Life begins where your comfort zone ends". - Neale Donald Walsh (thanks Keeley!)
I figure, if I'm trying to make a decision whether or not to do something, and I'm feeling nervous about it, then I DEFINITELY should do it. Cause the experience will undoubtedly teach me something about myself.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I love historical fiction, travel books, classical and Romantic English Literature, and soppy brain-candy novellas :)
Movies: I love period dramas, musicals, foreign films, and some good-old cult classics (SNL spin-offs etc.) Favourite movie: The Princess Bride. I can recite the whole thing start-to-finish, with voices and orchestral accompaniment included!
Music: where to start...Celtic, Musical Theatre and Opera are my favourite genres. Richard Rogers, Jason Robert-Brown, and Sondheim are my favourite Broadway composers, and Tchaikovsky, Richard Strauss and Puccini are my favourite opera comoposers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Most of my life-affirming moments have been centred around music or nature. For example,
1) beholding the clarity of the stars in the winter mountain air while on a telemark ski-camping trip in the Rocky Mountains.
2) the first time I stepped foot in the Wiener Staatsoper. It was like Mecca for me.
3) witnessing random moments of human generosity, which fill me with hope.
