ABOUT ME

Despite that my profile says I live in London I actually live in the Southwest of Scotland in Dumfries and Galloway, near the village of New Abbey. Apparently there is a glitch in the system being work on :S I do not understand such things.
I am open and honest, creative and caring. They would probably say that i am a bit of a hippy, obsessed with nature and someone that spends too much time wandering the hills and forests. Thats not a bad thing is it? Mostly I am just a down to earth person interested in meeting all different characters, making and hearing stories as well as experiences and generally trying to get a lot out of life. I am quite easy going and can get along well with most people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am hoping to meet fellow travelers and a variety of people with the possibility of putting people up for the night.
I am here to give advice on the area as I know it well.
I really hope to share skills, stories and good times whilst hosting and couch surfing myself.

I am very much looking forward to gaining some couch surfing experience.

Intereses

Well I have a few different and varied hobbies. I am a viking reenactor which is great fun as i am a warrior and the fighting is fun, i do the viking and medieval crafts and often find myself at an event sitting round a fire in a castle after the punters have gone enjoying tales and homemade mead and beer (I brew my own, yay!) and most importantly allows me to travel across the UK.
I am also a model which i use as my creative outlet preferring art photoshoots to fashion but enjoying whatever is thrown at me.
My biggest passion in life is nature and the conservation of it so i am also a keen bushcraft instructor and spend a lot of time teaching people ancient wilderness skills.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Tracking snow leopards in the Altai Mountains in Siberia when i was just 17 is an experience that i am unlikely to beat especially since due to our efforts the Sailugem region is now designated a nature reserve.
The moment i first locked eyes with a wolf called Waya
Looking into the eyes of a leopard and tracking dangerous animals in South Africa.
I am a lucky person to have been involved in such things

I want to learn all sorts of new skills and things about the world.
I am interested in alternative lifestyles, self sufficiency, nature (biggest passion) wilderness, history and arts or craft as well as languages and ancient things. Cooking, crafting, living, laughing, singing and story-telling.
New things and old things, weird things and wonderful things.
It is very likely that you will have something about you that I find interesting and want to know more about :D

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I am happy to share any skills and knowledge I have but hopefully mostly we will share good times :)
I am a historical reenactor part time and know many historical and ancient crafts (as well as modern ones) that I am happy to teach you.
My qualification is as a bushcraft instructor in wilderness skills so I can show you lots of nature crafts, go foraging for wild food and medicine (no hunting though) or to find the plants that make the best beer :D
Those are the two unique things I think I can share.
Just as me though, best way to find out is to have a conversation :)
