Overview
About Me
I've just finished up an extended break travelling (mostly) around Europe. I'm generally pretty easy going and just go with the flow and enjoy the adventures as they come.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a guest - To meet locals to share stories and good times and make friends whilst I'm travelling.
As a host - To be able to continue to meet new and interesting people whilst I'm not travelling and be able to pass on the generosity that I received whilst travelling.
Interests
I enjoy travelling and just exploring the world, it's people and the amazing natural attractions. I've just finished up a trip travelling in the US, throughout Europe, Morocco, Russia, Mongolia & Iran.
I love the outdoors & any activities that get me out enjoying nature. In particular hiking, cycling, skiing, horse riding, rock climbing, kayaking, caving...
I also enjoy learning about the history of the places I'm visiting, although I'm pretty bad at remembering it, so I prefer to stick to interesting anecdotes and trying to paint a picture of what life was life in some historical period rather than getting bogged down in the nitty gritty of dates and names and such things.

Solo cycle tour across Europe & in Iran.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm happy to cook (though I wont claim to be amazing at it), or even better, let me make a cake or some dessert for after dinner :)
If I'm around for a bit and you're interested I'd love to go for a hike or ride (or some other outdoorsy activity) together.
My Spanish is very (very!) basic, but if you're new to learning as well we could try and speak together.
I can share stories of my travels and tips for places that I've been to.
I can bring some drinks or dessert or something to have with dinner, just let me know what would suit :)
