Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Currently moving to Barstow on a cross-country trip. Starting a new job, but in the meantime I’m looking to meet new people and crash on a couch as I look for a permanent residence.

I have stayed at others' houses and travelers have stayed at mine, but we met off the website.

So, I grew up playing the cello but it’s not super portable. Switched to the violin but don’t worry, I won’t submit you to that. I don’t want to make your ears bleed.

I like sports despite not knowing how to run (basically involves flailing limbs and optimism).

Hanging out with dogs is a favored past time of mine. Love the high energy ones.

I like experiencing all types of music and finding new bands/singers. For movies, anything and everything goes. Same with books.

Currently I’m digging City of the Sun, though I can’t get Sons of the East’s “California” out of my mind. Makes sense. What’s your favourite band?

An elephant beat me in darts when I was a kid. I guess that's more of an amazing thing an elephant's done, though...

I could teach a few games. Cards, dice, etc. If you’re in, there’s a dinosaur-rubber band game I’m quite fond of.

Let’s share a drink? Or food? I love to cook and try new recipes. Got a pretty nifty pad Thai.
