CURRENT MISSION
Building community
ABOUT ME
My husband, Ian, and I live outside of Asheville, NC and we love to share our home and our lives with other wonderful folk. Ian is a full-time artist and I am currently a florist, but plan on going back to school for a degree in counseling and hope to eventually lead retreats and workshops on creativity and spirituality. We both play some Old Time and Celtic music--I play fiddle, he plays guitar and banjo--and we love anything local, homegrown (food and otherwise), grassroots, and wholesome. The mountains, family, tea and chocolate, and a good story are a few of our favorite things.
PHILOSOPHY
I consider life an opportunity to build and nurture healthy and healing relationships--with others, with self, with the natural world, with the Divine. To me, community is not only about conversation, but also about sharing experiences, struggles, and the continual commitment to be open to others and to life.
