I hosted a lovely girl recently whose profile said: why stay in one place if you don't have to? I completely agree.

I have two small children so am not travelling as much as I wish I could, but still hosting whenever we can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couch surfed across the States, Canada, and Bermuda a few years ago now, and now I have a spare bedroom to offer travellers a safe place to stay and return all the wonderful hospitality I received on my travels

I spent six months on couches, floors, mats, yachts, beds and in cupboards and I met more fabulous people than I ever could have expected. I've had a few people surf with me since I got back, who have all been lovely.

Interests

People, archaeology, literature, art, philosophy, architecture, sculpture, poetry, snowboarding, surfing, longboarding, photography, environmental awareness, having random adventures. Randomness, Synchronicity and serendipity are my favorite concepts.
