ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Oceanside, NY, just outside of New York City. Moved to Austin, Texas in my early 20's, back to NYC, to Austin again, and am now settled in Santa Rosa, CA. My husband, Patrick, and I live in a bungalow in semi-rural Sonoma County. Locally, we enjoy hiking in the West County and Annadel, and elsewhere when we have the time. We also like dance and are part of wonderful dance community here in the Bay area.

**PLEASE NOTE** To all kind Couchsurfers who offer to host me: I broke my ankle November 2018. Now it is much better but still healing. I can walk several miles at a time, but I still cannot "be on my feet" all day long (as I did before my accident). Because if this, I ask that I have the option of coming "home" during the day if I need to. In other words, if you are out ALL DAY and into the evening, and are not comfortable with giving me a key, please let me know in your offer, so I can plan accordingly. Thank you!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We have hosted a few times in our Santa Rosa home, and I have been hosted several times during my recent Eastern European trips. We can offer short term space for guests, in our living room or the guest barn. We're pretty busy with work and dance, but may be available for meeting for coffee, hiking, or you can join us for dance! I have some knowledge of hiking and cycling in the area, so could make suggestions for local activities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have used Couchsurfing as a guest several times during my last trips to the Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania), and to Hungary and the Czech Republic, and had a wonderful time with some great hosts. Here at home we have hosted CSers several times. Through Warmshowers I have been a guest and a host several times, and we often host for our dance community and Burning Man friends. Great experience!

COUCH INFORMATION
You have to send a CouchRequest at least two days in advance. I accept one or two guests at a time for two or three nights.

Travel, Gardening, Dance. I do Ballroom, Swing and Latin, and Conscious Dance. I've been a practitioner of yoga for over 25 years. We often spend evenings or Sunday at dance or hiking Sonoma County.
