ABOUT ME
I am a 22 year old British girl who has spent the last four years in Amsterdam studying sociology and the liberal arts. Now that I am "free" from university I am excited travelling around on a more long term basis than I've ever had the chance before. I like nothing more from life than being surrounded by friendly people doing interesting things, preferably somewhere where it is slightly warmer than the wintery UK! I enjoy many different things, from slacklining and dancing to drinking tea and having interesting political/philosophical conversations.
PHILOSOPHY
Always eat more breakfast!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Over the years I have spent some months in Sri Lanka, Thailand and Malaysia, all of which have shown me that for me travelling is much more about meeting and interacting with people than just ticking things off of a bucketlist. I am really excited to be able to use couch surfing to meet people and share and learn the skills that I have picked up in my life with other people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Lets just say I have a song for every occasion but I try not to sing them constantly as there are more tuneful voices in the world.
Its so hard to choose favourite books: most recently I have read The Kool Aid Acid Test, which talks about the merry pranksters who were amongst the first in the US to experiment a lot with LSD. Its a cracking read. But other books.... hmm I have read too many good ones, also any recommendations are loved!
People always hate me because I have barely seen any of the classic movies. I recently watched Big Fish by Tim Burton and it was incredibly beautiful - I think I cried for a good half an hour afterwards!!
Teach, Learn, Share
One of the things I carry around with me in my backpack is a slackline. I'm not very good yet, but I can still teach the basics of slacklining and its fun to put up between some trees and have a go.
I also am able to teach people to play the flute if they are interested, I carry one of those with me too!
I am interested in learning all sorts of weird skills that people can teach me and I try to collect knowledge as I travel around :)
