ABOUT ME

I'm the youngest and only girl of 5 children. I loved growing up in a huge family, but right now I'm exploring the world and creating the person who I want to be. Recently, I graduated from university, and am now an English teacher volunteer in Chile. So far, this experience has been amazing and I can't wait to explore South America more! Eventually, I want to do something in International Law, but until then, I want to see the world.

Life is absolutely what you make of it. So follow your dreams, do something you never thought possible, but above all, make it meaningful.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed a bit when I was in Europe on a Study Aboard Exchange, and have hosted a few times in the US. Currently, I'm living with a host family during my volunteer service here in Pucon, Chile, so I don't have a couch to offer, but I would love to meet up with people and show them around in the little time that I am here. In the next few weeks, I will be traveling and hopefully couchsurfing. When I do go home to the states in August, I would love to give back to fellow couchsurfers and have them stay over. Bring your travels to me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had only positive, wonderful experiences with couchsurfing. I couchsurfed a bit in Europe a few years ago and was constantly surprised by everyone's generosity and enthusiasm. I have also hosted a few times and honestly, it has been so much fun meeting people from all over the world who just want to make new connections and really get to know a new culture.

- Deciding on a whim in Europe to take a train to Paris for breakfast and then getting stuck there for the day.

- Getting lost in a tiny town on the French Riveria late at night with a bottle of wine and a banjo.
