Overview
About Me
Have worked in Nicaragua for 11 years and in Central America on and off since 1998. I am now half 'gringa' and half 'latina' . My work is running an NGO that serves 3 communities and 350 children. I live with my three dogs and cat, and sometimes have a friend who stays with me. I consider myself spiritual, hardworking, introverted with an extroverted side.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to meet interesting people, learn more about various cultures when traveling because I am more of the type of person who likes to understand a country I visit via it's people then just 'sightsee'.
When hosting, I would love to have people who are interested in learning about Nicaragua, my adopted country, more than just a 'free place to stay'.
Interests
Love mountain biking, hiking, photography, travel, dance (salsa) and read.

What I Can Share with Hosts
As a guest I like to consider myself humble and would be interested in knowing more about your culture and the 'insiders tips'. I also am aware that you have a life and may not have tons of time to dedicate to me when visiting. In general I am not a partier, I drink little, and do not smoke. I have found when visiting places like Cuba I like to stay out late because I want to dance and music does not start until later. Otherwise my normal schedule is early to rise to ride bike or walk etc.
