I'm a born and bred Californian, hailing from the Bay Area, and can tell you all about how weird the San Francisco Bay Area is--though that's also why I love it. I study Computer Science at UC Berkeley and am in the middle of an internship with Intel as a Cloud Platforms Group software engineer intern.

Before anything, I can say that I love adventure, and always have dreamed extravagantly of it. I want to wander foreign cities and for once know what it's like to not speak the region's language, go out dancing, listening to live music, museum-hop, cycle endlessly, and eat everything.

I. Love. Music. Pretty much everything except for country, metal, and rap. There are too many favorites to account for, but Passion Pit, Arctic Monkeys, twenty one pilots, Porter Robinson, BØRNS, The Killers, Frank Sinatra, Vampire Weekend to name a small, small slice of what I listen to. I'd be thrilled to hear some non-American music; let's trade music! I'll make a playlist.

Books and movies? Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings. I could honestly geek out for hours and hours about how awesome these series are. Aside from my love for fantasy, it's a toss-up between Catch-22 and A Clockwork Orange for my favorite novel.
