Interests

I love meeting new people and discovering the story. The struggle is part of the story. Where do they come from? What makes them the way that they are? Do we all realize the miracle of paths crossing at exactly the right moment, considering all of the things in the background that had to happen and unfold with the stars aligned in order to just MEET someone . . . it gives me goosebumps. Everyone we meet is with a purpose. What is your reason?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first couchsurfers I hosted in Kansas City.
Watching a missionary testify and witness to a drug addict. . .and seeing the look in his eyes as he went from not being able to look up into another's eyes to believing he has a Father in Heaven who loves him just the way he is. He kicked the needle. It was truly miraculous.
Helping a homeless man and his dog secure lodging for two nights when I didn't have any money to buy groceries . . . .and in return, the homeless man gave me his EBT card and said, "do me a favor and spend everything that's left on this card". it was three days worth of groceries for me and my kids.
