About Me
Hey :-)
I'm Kati from Berlin, Germany.
As usual here at cs, I'm always exiced to meet new people and cultures from all over the world and I'm interested in hanging out with friends, going to party and talk about politics, social structures and all that stuff about how bad/beautiful our earth is.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to visit new places and learn about the different cultures so I think the best way to do it all is couchsurfing. tbh I don't like hotels, maybe bc I worked in a hotel for many years.
Every country has its own common conventions and its own usual zeitgeist and there's nothing thats excites me more, than to learn about the ways of life and the (sometimes very funny & stupid) laws. The only way to get "wisedom" is to know about differences in the world and to talk to real ppl.
I'm very shy to talk in english (writing is much easier for me), bc I'm not used to talk that much. But I love to learn so pls tell me about my mistakes!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The best experience I made was to travel in Israel. It's such a small country, so you can travel from north to south in just a few hours. It started with an exchange with my university and the university of haifa and it ended with a few weeks of hanging out with very open minded and cool people (most of them cs). I learnd a lot about the issues they have and I had the chance to talk to very different person with different backgrounds (one of them was a real survivor of the holocaust, and another one lost his house in a palestinian area) and views about the whole conflict.
It is a beautiful country and I have never seen such different cultures so close together.
