"Previously on..." :
I am currently a Master Student at the University of Groningen!
I am really interested in my field of Clinical Forensic Psychology & Victimology but my life has been crazy after I finished my Bachelor and before I started the Master.

One part of that includes becoming a scuba instructor and working on islands and cruise ships before I came back to Groningen for this degree.

I love to hang out with friends, watching movies or having drinks. I guess like any other 20-something really.

Also try to be spontaneous. I learned from Barney Stinson that you should that the best way to make a choice is to think about, what would make the best story to tell later?
No great story ever started with "So we had salad and watched a movie..." Unless a dinosaur attacks later in that story but everyone knows dinosaurs don't attack in houses or because of salad...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my time in the US I couchsurfed a lot in all different places and I loved it. While I am studying now I am trying to find time to travel every once in a while when there is a week off. When I travel I like to use CS to not only have a place to stay but mostly to meet locals from the area that can show me the way of living in the city I'm visiting and to make new friends and memories!

Also, now that I have enough space to share it occasionally, I love to host people and give back to the community after not having been able to host when I started using CS in the beginning.

My CS experience has only been positive yet!
I met interesting and fun people and some I'd love to keep in touch with!
the great thing about CS is that you don't only visit different cities but also locals that can show you the best places to go and inside tips!

Interests

My main interest for sure: DIVING
I became a scuba instructor and worked on islands and cruise ships for a while. Now, I am part of a Diving Student Association and give lessons and dive occasionally on weekends. I love it!
I might start working full time again after my studies. I just miss the warm waters and being on boats

Other interests include playing video games with friends. Mario Kart & Party for the win!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Walking along the Cinque Terre in Toscany, Italy. Those towns and the view were amazing.
- Jetskiing around Key West in the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. FUN
- I climbed the 4000 steps of the Haiku Stairs in Hawaii, so called stairway to heaven = first time I was actually scared for my life!
-afterwards I jumped out of an airplane - skydiving! ... also scared me shitless
- most amazing probably, again, becoming a scuba instructor!

There are many stupid and amazing things I've done or still plan to do :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you everything I know about the underwater world or try to tell you whether you are a risk to society wth my clinical forensic skills (just joking about the last, kind of ;) :D )

I have some pretty cool and funny stories to tell! Also I like to say about myself that I am a good cook so I could share some good old german dishes with you ;)

We should also share a few beers, wine or (my favourite) a bottle of rum!
