ABOUT ME

We are a young (28 and 32) and friendly couple in Budapest. We live in a two-room flat in Buda (the right side of the river Danube). Kati is an English and Music teacher in an elementary school and Karoly is a journalist who deals with economy. Our hobbies are reading, going on trips, and sightseeing. We love cooking together. We like meeting people from different cultures and different countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have a room for guests, where you can stay for a couple of nights. We have more spare time in summer, therefore we would like to travel around the world then.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All we have are positive experiences as hosts. We didn't have any problems with either of our surfers and we managed to get to know a lot of people and cultures. We've been surfers in Italy only once and it was great. We look forward to other surfing and hosting experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

We love rock music, we listen to classical music, punk, jazz, musicals.
Miklós Vámos has a lot of books that we love reading. He is one of our favourite authors. We like historical books, adventure stories, books on ELT, Italian books, books about music, psychology, books on economy and politics.
We like comedies, adventure films, historical films and basically everything that can entertain us.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach you a lot of things about Hungarian history, language, culture. We can teach you English and a little Italian as well.
