Hey! I'm Katia, a university student from Bonn. I'm studying Asian studies with a special focus on East Asia and I've already studied abroad in Japan in 2013/2014. My family originates from Russia and I have relatives in Moscow and in the Caucasus.

Music, Movies, and Books

I devour books and I'm basically always reading - My favorite genres are fantasy, dystopies and sci-fi. I also really love movies, be it action movies or detective movies, as long as the production quality is high I will probably enjoy it. As for music right now I'm hooked on Korean Hip Hop, but I'll listen to anything really.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2013/2014 I've lived for a year in Japan and I can share one hundred thousand wonderful and crazy stories of my life in Japan and I also spend my summers in Moscow with my family, so believe me when I tell you: I can go on and on with wonderful things that have happened in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I wish I could stay a university student forever to be honest. It's such an amazing and uncomplicated lifestyle and I get to learn something new every day and go some new places - I just love it. I'm also always keen on sharing what I've learned.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As mentioned before I can go on and on with talking about my adventures, I'm also quite good at cooking, be it Russian, Japanese or German cruisine, so we could have some food-adventures together.
