Hi Couchsurfing crew. So I find myself in Europe solo since August 2018 and am keen on meeting locals while I travel for the next year or so. After a bad day at work I thought, enough, and threw in my job after nearly 10 years. I want to see what this side of the world brings and try changing my life path up a bit.

I promise I'm clean and considerate and I will bring with me my Australian sense of humour mixed with my Italian cooking skills (seriously, I learnt from my nonna/grandmother and I'm not too bad at all).

I'm well-travelled and always thinking of where my next adventure might be (and it usually includes a mountain or two), so I'm keen to hear your travel tales and suggestions.

Also love my food and will always welcome an eating companion!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling alone means I've been relying on hostels to meet people, but I'd really like to meet locals and experience a new culture as authentically as possible. I'm open-minded and always keen to learn different ways of thinking. For this I think couchsurfing is a brilliant concept as it really opens up the world to you, from a couch.

I'll listen to everything and anything - hmm except heavy metal, sorry.
Movies - i like quirky foreign films like Amelie along with Love Actually, a classic. But tv series... House of Cards, Game of Thrones...
Books - love reading but am not someone who remembers and recites books, except Wuthering Heights. A classic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to a big fat Indian wedding in Kenya (Indians know how to party - it was a week-long festival). Then went on safari in the Masai Mara and spent a Christmas there with Masai warriors.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a strong writer so if you need any help with something in English I can definitely assist. I also, for some reason, have a thing for cleaning kitchens (weird, I know) so if you're having a dinner party with your friends I got it covered ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think I have a pretty good sense of humour and am always up for a laugh. I can talk to a chair so I promise not to be a boring potato in your home and bring good conversation. I can also bring wine.
