Hello!
My name is Katia, I'm Italian and I'm an engineer... and an architect, because my course of study says that now I'm both! Well, I just finished university (at last), so now (that means after summer) I'll start looking for a job.
Also, before choosing engineering I studied Latin and Greek in high school, and for five years I studied harp in conservatory, but I had to abandon it because of university, and because I was just interested but didn't want to do that for a living...
I have a boyfriend whom I love very much and, after five years together and now that I finally finished my studies, we have started to live together.
I have a dream (a little bit of a crazy dream, actually....): I want to visit Norway first, and then find a job and live there. Obviously, if I want my boyfriend to follow me, I have to find a job first!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to register on Couchsurfing because a couple of friends of mine and my boyfriend's brother used it and recommended it, and because, not having a job for now I haven't a lot of money, but I want to travel all that I didn't travel during my university years because I didn't want distractions.
Actually, I think I'm living now a sort of a late adolescence, because all the curiosity of visiting new places and hence meeting new people that I had somewhat to repress during my university years because I had to study and I had no money popped up when I finally graduated. So, I want to do now what I couldn't until a couple of months ago!

Music, Movies, and Books

Actually, I have quite eclectic tastes in music and movies. I can watch almost anything and usually enjoy it with no problem (especially if I'm not alone). About music: well, exception made for the techno music, I can switch from heavy metal to celtic music or classical music. About classical music, I don't know very much but sometimes I like to listen to it. Acritically.
About books I like fantasy, or historic novels, or novels in general. I love manga, anime and some hypster comics that nobody knows (or at least that nobody I know knows, that sometimes turns to be a pretty sad thing because I can only share my interests with people on the intenet in forums and stuff...). And well, in the last few years I started to read fanfictions because when I watch or read something then I grow attached to the characters and I can't leave them alone! XD

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

...ehm... I don't know... nothing special... maybe avoid an assault of two men with a knife in Istanbul a night on the way home (really, I have no idea how I made it out of it...), but I'm pretty sure that it was all thanks my best friend who was with me and her glaring at them in a murderous way.... man, that was a scary time!
Other than that... I confessed to my present boyfriend and convinced him to go out with me with a pure heart and very good intentions? XD
Really, I don't live such an exciting life XD
