ABOUT ME

i´m katia, 24 years old and i´m living in hamburg. actually, i´m russian. my family came to germany 11 years ago. so, now i spent nearly half of my life in germany. awesome somehow..
i´m studying piano. i started playing piano as i was 8, quite late for a professional pianist. but i didn´t only make music (playing piano, singing, even played violne a little..), but also painted and did sketching, did acting, danced (i love ballet!).. so, was quite hard to decide, what to study. but i did! and happy with. sometimes it´s hard. hard to finde yourself in the music, your place. i guess i´ll never stop searching. but maybe it should be like this. otherways you stop to develope, you regress.
so, you could say i´m a cretive person. i love arts,
love to dance, love theatre, love people who are creative. and i love to travel!! cause traveling for me is always getting to know people: how they´re living, what they´re thinkung, how they´re feeling. and just walk through the streets without any aim, just looking around, see new buildings (love it!), see people walking..of course do some sightseeing stuff, but not only, otherways you see only tourists! and will never got the flair of the place you´re visiting. and how´s the best way doing it? of course with people living there! so, that´s why i came to CS..looking forward to see you!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

would be great, if i would get a couch at the place i visit and of course i would be happy to get to know the place with you by my side. but if you don´t have a lot of time to spend with me (a lot of work to do or whatever), it´s not the big problem- i´m good at traveling alone ;)
or you have time, but not the couch? great aswell! we could spend time together and you show me your favourite places.

i love the classic literature, you know, the book you say about "this you should have read".
i like russian literatur, i read everything from chekhov. i lke to immerse my self in another world by reading, so it´s a way to travel aswell. to travel in time..

music? i´m really open-minded. i can listen nearly to everything. just have to be the right time and place for it

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the gratest trip i had was in israel! people there are so open-minded and hospitable! by this conditions thy´re living in..incredible!
