I love music, travelling and nature. Im generally outgoing, and like talking with new people. I like to think I have an open mind about different people, circumstances and cultures. Learning new languages and customs excites me. Graduated from Graphic Design at Fanshawe College in 2007, although currently Im working in construction or gardening, both of which I find interesting and personally rewarding, despite the hard work involved. I like to cook for others, and learn about new foods and beer/wine.
I have often been described as a free spirit. This proves true in my tendencies while travelling, as I often make plans last minute and enjoy going where the wind or weather takes me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im (was) travelling around Europe (hopefully soon the rest of the World!) and have discovered the experiences meeting local people to be the most rewarding. Having someone to give advice about what I should visit, where to eat, and perhaps which places to see next on my adventure! I enjoy hearing of local history and folklore.
Before I was on CS, I hosted many travelling bands and on my own adventures have been helped by many strangers who quickly became friends.

Im open to all music, love seeing live bands and performances. My personal favourite genres are rock/metal/blues/country, however I enjoy many other varieties including traditional, jazz, hiphop and electronic.
I like independent films, comedies and documentaries.
Books about history, society or adventure, both fiction or non.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I touched the Atlantic, Pacific and the Gulf of Mexico within the span of 12 months, driving around North America.
