About Me
ABOUT ME
I spent most of my childhood in New York but moved to California when I was 15 - and I have to say I identify more with California. I love the culture, nature, people, and just overall lifestyle of California. In California I picked up many habits I still carry with me, such a cooking and gardening. I think on of my favorite things to do is to have friends over and cook a big delicious dinner together. I am currently traveling through out South America for 6 months working on organic farms as I go (through an organization called WWOOF). Before I left the states I doing youth development work in community gardens and working as an assistant teacher in a public elementary school. I'm not quite sure what I'll be doing when I get back, but that's part of the fun I guess. My favorite thing about my travels so far have been the people I've meet, they are by far the aspect that sticks with me the most of all my experiences.
PHILOSOPHY
"It reasons that the present is undefined, that the future has no other reality than as present hope, that past is no more than present memory . . . " -Jorge Borges

Teach, Learn, Share
I studied Peace and Conflict studies in University and love sharing my knowledge of world systems and structures. I also have acquired some knowledge over the years about gardening, natural herbal remedies, and homeopathic medicine. I've been practicing yoga for many years and would love to share my knowledge of this as well. I am fascinated with so many topics and would love to learn whatever someone has to offer, whether it be historical knowledge, medical knowledge, or practical skills.
