ABOUT ME

I recently graduated from the University of Calgary with a double major in Archaeology (with a concentration in physical anthropology) and Primatology. Thus, I love monkeys, conservation and digging in the dirt in hopes of understanding more about our past. I believe that my two majors work together in that studying our closest living ancestors can tell us just as much about our past as studying our material remains.

I currently work seasonally (during the summers) here in the Canadian north. I spend my winters traveling.

I love meeting new people, and experiencing places as locals do just as much as how a tourist does. You can see many things and add to your experiences when staying with locals. I often travel alone, and this is a great way to meet people.
I am always up for anything, truly anything. I find joy in the simple things in life, but also enjoy the fast paced life and exciting adventures.
I'm clean, and easy to get along with, ie a good house guest.

PHILOSOPHY

Work less, play more.
I'm only 24 but I only work 4-5 months out of the year and play the rest, why not!
Live within your means...keep your expenses low and you can work way less.
Live life to the fullest, because you only have one shot at it.
Why spend your youth saving madly for your retirement, who knows what will have happened to you by then.
The world is my oyster.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted other surfers, not many, when I lived on the east coast of Canada. Since then I haven't had a permanent home really and haven't been hosting.
