I'm not very good at going on and on about myself. Honestly, I'd rather hear more about you. All I can say is that if there were ever a motto to describe me, it would be "pray, love, eat" (in that order).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently found out about Couchsurfing, but I think it's a pretty cool way to meet new people and learn from their experiences as well as share my own. Also, traveling can be a struggle so it's pretty awesome that there's a community of travelers here willing to help each other out. Another personal reason why I'm Couchsurfing is to meet people who speak spanish and french in order to practice my speaking skills so that I don't lose them. Spanish and french speakers are highly welcomed!

Interests

I love food! Food, food, and more food! I love trying the cuisine of different cultures and I'll eat just about anything once, although I'm kind of picky with seafood. I like to dance and learn new styles of dance. Right now I'm learning salsa and bachata (I know there are different variations, but I don't know which one I learned lol). I have the basic steps down but I could use some work. I also love to travel and see all the different parts of this awesome world God created. It's a great way to meet new people and share new experiences (and try new food).

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a mix of everything but I don't know that many artists and authors so I'm willing to read, watch, or listen to anything suggested to me. Music itself is very relaxing to me. Once I discover a song I like, I listen to it over and over at least 50 times until I discover a new one. I love the instrumentals and hearing something in the music I didn't hear the last 49 times such as an instrument subtly playing in the background that you wouldn't hear unless you paid close attention. People think I'm crazy for listening to one song that many times, but I see it as appreciating the musicality in the song. My longtime favorite musician whose music I've always enjoyed is Francis Cabrel. I also like salsa and bachata-style music. As far as books and movies go, it's been so long since I've read a good book or watched a movie that really "tickled my fancy" so I'm open to suggestions.
