ABOUT ME

I'm a combination of loud and silly, but kind of shy in groups. So my favorite way of getting to know people is one-on-one, in small groups, or doing fun activities.

I love exploring new places. Sometimes that just means taking a walk to a nearby park instead of biking everywhere. In cities, I love people watching, getting lost, musicals, museums, and dancing. I also love being outdoors: swimming, hiking, biking. I went on my first multi-day backpacking trip in China and I'm really excited to do another one. I'm also really interested in doing a longer bike trip.

I was born in Moscow, Russia and moved to the US when I was 10. Since then I've lived on the west coast (whooo San Francisco and Seattle!) Seattle is my home, and I love the west coast, but I'm growing more and more fond of Pittsburgh. One of things I love is the random architecture(castles looking houses galore!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couchsurfed through the website but I've stayed on a fair number of couches in my travels. My favorite is a road trip I took with a friend from LA to Seattle. We call it the 10-days and 5-moms trip. We visited a bunch of friends, hung out their moms, hiked Yosemite, and had an amazing time. My point is, I love having my own adventures, but I also like meeting new people and learning about their lives.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I studied abroad in China for six months and had the most amazing time. I loved being able to wander through the cities and discover something new and awesome around every corner. Oh and the food is so so good! And cheap!
