to take full advantage of my young age and become as educated, cultured, and experienced as I can to better spend my time in this world

ABOUT ME

I'm a double major in international business and spanish at UT Austin, and I have a real passion for traveling.
I've been lucky enough to meet my fair share of international people in Austin, so I've developed great relationships with people all over the world. However, I always love meeting new people and learning about different cultures.
In a nutshell, I love to draw and paint, play and watch soccer, read, write, drink coffee from every country, be in the sun, run, and scuba dive.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe you only have one life to live, so you should make the most of every opportunity presented to you as well as create opportunities for yourself rather than waiting around for life to come to you. I'm a work hard, play hard type of person. You create your own destiny, so make it a good one. Experience everything, the good, the bad, and figure out what you love. Life is all about decisions, and if you play it safe, you will never know what's out there.

Became friends with a random traveler, as you do, who got me involved and so far so good!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed a couple times and met up with a few travelers. I'm traveling for the next year so won't be able to host, but I love that couchsurfing is also a place to give advice and insight. I've loved telling everyone the ins and outs of Austin.. and appreciate advice about cities I'm going to visit.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The view of Vatican City and Rome from the top of St. Peters Basilica at the Vatican after climbing thousands of steps to the top including a pulling myself up with a rope because it was so steep.

The Floating Market in Thailand, eating lunch and buying things from people cooking and bargaining on passing boats. Just watching life in action, a life so different to mine, yet just raw culture and life.

Lastly, sitting on the edge of Pulpit Rock, Norway looking down to the water 2000 ft below and breathing in the crisp air. Feeling weightless and like nothing else mattered.
