Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was traveling in SE Asia for 6 months with my girlfriend and we ended up landing in Melbourne, both out of interest in coming to Australia and a friend of mines' wedding. We've been living in the city for 2 months and want to get out and see what else Australia has to offer! We're trying right now to save up money but we're also looking to travel as cheaply as possible, and also make some friends along the way.
