Hi I'm Katie! I love traveling and take every opportunity to do so. I'm 23 years old and originally from Chicago. I have also lived in Connecticut for 2 years and Florida for 3 years. I am graduating this year as a mechanical engineer and I have a month off before I start work. I'm going to be wwoofing in Germany and Italy to see what its like to live abroad. Along the way, I hope to stop in some cities or visit nearby cities along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy making new friends from all over the world and learning about other peoples lives have always interested me. Being from Chicago, I know how much difference it makes being with a local versus on your own. I always take recommendations from the people I meet and its a great way to see the city!

I enjoy painting, cooking, baking, running and working out. I also enjoy being outdoors and I try to go skiing, hiking, boating, and biking when I'm able to. I like learning about how things work and hope to one day work as a yacht designer.
