My names Katie. Just like many other people on this site, I've caught the travel bug. My first big experience was studying abroad in Italy for 3 months. It was such an amazing experience! I first used CouchSurfing when I traveled to California for 3 weeks. All of my hosts were so hospitable and kind.

I am currently working as a visual effects artist on a TV show here in Georgia.

My other interest are mostly sports, or just being active. I have been training and teaching taekwondo for almost 5 or 6 years and I love it. I also started on a swim team when I was very young and still enjoy swimming and teaching swim leasons during the summer. Other more recent explorations include rock climbing, rugby at my university, and skateboarding.
