My name is Katie and I work in development education. I was born in the Czech Republic, I grew up in England and worked as a teacher across many countries in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. I am currently working in an non-profit school in Somaliland, facilitating high quality education to children whose access to education would otherwise be limited.
I love travelling and learning about different cultures and languages.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and meeting locals from different countries and cultures. I would like to opportunity to stay with hosts, to be able to afford to travel more and be more exposed to the country and culture form the local's perspective.
Unfortunately, I cannot host people in Prague, bit I'd be happy to meet with people in both Prague (Czech Republic) and Hargeisa (Somaliland).
