Hi ! I'm Katie - 24 Years young and love adventures, travelling and getting lost. Grew up in the sunny Okanagan in British Columbia, Canada. Would love to do some inexpensive travelling and meet new people while experiencing different cultures and having a good time! I am open to hosting others in my small basement suite in Kamloops BC. I hosted before and really enjoyed it, but have since been living with roommmates. Come mid-march 2017 I will be able to host again as I will have my own place to call home!!

I think it is incredible to hear other adventurers stories and learn from their experiences. Meeting people from all over the world via couchsurfing can be so enriching and positive! I do work a lot and sometimes am out of town, but I try and say YES to as many travellers as I can.

More about me - I am fairly outgoing, but I also don't mind sitting on the couch and watching movies in blankets and pillows with a friend! I try and be as respectful as I can, especially around new people. I enjoy most activities - let me know what you like doing. We can go party at a club or hike up a mountain, whatever you're in to, let's do it! After all, isn't travel about new experiences?

The goal is always to be comfortable, whether you are hosting or being hosted. For that reason, sometimes if your profile does not have any references I will ask for contact info for a family member in case of emergency, or if there are any doubts or complications. It gives both of us peace of mind! After all, having strangers stay in your house, or staying in a strangers house can sometimes be stressful, especially if you are far from home.

I have a cat named Sammy who is almost 5 years old, so I hope you like kitty cats! (And aren't alleric!) I usually am working days from 8-5 (Give or take) and have some odd days here and there off work. We can try and plan something where I can at least have a day off to have an adventure with you!

My house is small, it is a basement suite located in the heart of downtown Kamloops near parks, hiking, lots of shops and stores, restaurants, and the river. You will be staying on a very comfy full sized couch in a 1 bathroom 1 bedroom suite. Depending on the length of stay, I can feed you a little bit and do any activities you wish to do.
