My husband Ben and I live Brewerytown, a neighborhood in North Philadelphia, one mile north of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

We both came to Philly for college, and eventually settled here after getting married since we love the city so much. Ben's been here 11 years and I've been here 7 years.

Ben is a real estate broker, and I work for a non-profit organization that helps individuals with disabilities find jobs. I also write, record, and perform music under my moniker Everhart.

We have a huge Rottweiler named Teddy, who is loveable and makes us laugh.

We love going out for drinks and good food in the Philly bar/restaurant scene, listening to records, exercising, camping, talking, hanging out with all of our Brewerytown friends, traveling to new places, and visiting our families in Lancaster. We are involved in our church here in Philly, and love meeting all kinds of different people and learning from different perspectives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are planning a roadtrip to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary in June 2015 but are hoping to keep cost down, as well as meet new people across the southwest.
