Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I prefer to meet locals and experience the locations I visit rather than stay in tourist areas. I travel on a budget so hostels have been my go to. I am new to the Couchsurfing world but have stayed in many Airbnb homes as a guest with people and have enjoyed meeting them.
I'm taking a leave of absence to do some soul searching.
