Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on CS because hotel prices are nuts! And I never underestimate the power of good company. I want to travel more and I'm hoping this will allow me to do so.

I love music of all kinds, cooking, and exploring my way through the wonderful world of food. I enjoy good friends, jokes, and learning about plants and animals and creatures of all sorts.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC:
When I say all kinds, that is no exaggeration. I dabble in a little bit of everything. Bands include Young the Giant, Kings of Leon, Awolnation, Alt-J, Dead Soldiers. Artists include Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, Børns, Prince, and Marian Hill. Just to name a few that I regularly listen to. I don't discriminate.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not so amazing but will always be my favorite memory.
Me and my sister did not grow up with money. In fact, for as long as I can remember we've always lived within our means. One year, for my sister's 16th birthday my dad surprised us with a week long trip to Hawaii. How? We have no idea. Still don't know. We just went all out with it and did everything we could while we were there. Rented a Jeep, ate steak and sushi every night, went shopping, got piercings, you name it. Probably racking up thousands of dollars but for some reason my dad did not care one bit. Best trip of my life. Still have no idea how he afforded it.
