Hi! I’m an American girl from California, but I’ve been living abroad for the past few months in Italy and Russia. I spent 3 months Au Pairing for a family in the Italian Alps, and now I am living in Odintsovo, Russia (near Moscow) teaching private English lessons.
I love the concept of couch surfing; I simply haven’t had the chance to utilize it yet.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I love the concept of couch surfing, I think it’s possibly one of the best ways to travel in an authentic, economic way that has the potential to cultivate some really interesting national or international relationships (which I find very cool).
Regardless of how I plan to normally use this app, for the next few months while still in the Moscow region, I’m hoping to use it as a tool to meet people and make friends that can communicate in English (or who are willing to try!). I want to use more of the “meet up” features of the app to find a little community of friends and like minded people :)
