One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My best experiences have happened through random encounters with new people: being adopted into a huge Italian family who fed me gummy bears when I was alone in a dive bar on a Sunday night; being adopted (again!) by some Ukrainian partiers I met on a hotel rooftop in downtown New York; drinking Baltika and eating salty cheese on the train to Montréal with the very homesick Russian guy who sat next to me; having a 30-minute conversation about Schrodinger's Cat with a girl I met in a club bathroom
