Born and raised in Denver, CO; lived in Chicago, went to school in Portland, OR, and moved to Cambridge, MA in Fall 2015 for the rowing and the science. I'm getting ready to move to the UK to start grad school, and I'm trying to get in as many adventures as I can until then. I'm into hiking, backpacking, rowing, reading, and I've been known to play the mandolin.

Music - A little bit of everything, but I was raised on bluegrass music, so what I habitually listen to tends to fall towards Tony Rice and Bill Monroe. Movies - Harold and Maude; Pixar movies because I'm a dork. Books - so many. Sometimes a Great Notion; The Iliad (like I said, I'm a dork); Housekeeping by Marilynne Robinson.
