About Me

I have lived pretty much all over the USA (Seattle, San Diego, LA, Houston, San Antonio, New York, Las Vegas and Washington DC).
Travel is one of my biggest passions. I cannot get enough of it. After my cross-country move to the DC area I have taken a bunch of trips to New York, Boston, back to Vegas to visit and I'm heading out to Seattle.
I studied theater at San Diego State University and love getting exposed to all manner of live performance.
I visited the UK for the first time in 2016 and I was forever changed. I plan to eventually live there. Having a chance to be a groundling at Shakespeare's Globe was a dream come true. The play did not disappoint.
I burn up for art, food, drink and stimulating companions. I adore a good book and lengthy, enriching conversations.
I went kayaking for the first time and can't wait to go again. I'm excited for my next adventure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I gain so much perspective when I have the chance to see how locals live. I appreciate the generosity of people willing to open their homes to travellers and hope to get myself situated to start hosting myself. I've heard nothing but wonderful things from my dear friends who are seasoned couch surfers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Oasis, New Edition, Guy, lots more! I recently saw Green Day in concert and they were amazing. I also saw Broods, Noel Gallagher, Weezer, Two Door Cinema Club, Reel Big Fish, Anti-Flag, Ballyhoo and Gorillaz in recent years. I love going to live shows.

Movies- Amelie, The Goonies, The Parent Trap, Star Wars (Episodes IV-VII)! There are lots more.

Books - All Jane Austen, Jane Eyre, One Day, Fangirl, Eleanor & Park (I'm a big sucker for contemporary young adult fiction). I've worked in a couple different book shops over the years. I love the smell of books. My parents and grandparents were all big bibliophiles. My mom reads constantly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once climbed a wall to get into an abandoned ampitheater and hopped up on the stage to sing. I'm more than happy to tell you about other adventures. I'd love to hear about yours!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love that so many different folks participate in couchsurfing. The experience alone should teach me loads.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm pretty much an open book. I'm happy to share and chat or keep things light and stay under the radar, whatever is more convenient for you. I can happily teach you some basic ASL or coach you on a song you'd like to sing. My primary aim is to be a gracious guest.
