I can be quite shy until you get to know me, but this is one of the reasons I like to travel, it has forced me to get out of my comfort zone and meet new people and have new and different experiences.

I have travelled and lived a little bit in Europe and this is when I met some of the most amazing people I now call friends and had some of the best experiences of my life.

I am always interested in hearing others stories and discovering what they are about.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am interested in meeting people from different backgrounds and sharing stories. I also would love to meet people who can point me towards some of the unknown and unusual aspects of a new places - not just what it says in the tourist guide.

Interests

I have many interests, travelling being one of them. Apart from this I am happy any time I am around water whether it is a lake, the ocean or a river (learning to surf is on my bucket list). I also love photography, looking at others work and seeing their perspective and how they view the world and trying to learn to take my own photographs as well.

My music taste is a bit eclectic, I listen to anything from Fleetwood Mac, London Grammar, Kings of Leon to Angus and Julia Stone on a regular basis.

I am currently reading Eating Animals but enjoy lots of different genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living overseas as an Au Pair. This taught me a lot about myself and changed me, and the way I think about the world. It was an unforgettable experience!
