🌍 I'm Polish/British. I travel slightly off the beaten path, mostly to former Soviet republics. I'm also re-visiting countries in Europe and elsewhere.

🌍 I think sometimes my travelling is a bit like dating. I do a little bit of 'speed dating' (short visits) and if I'm intrigued or charmed by a country, I go back for more. Sometimes I even end up planning to move there (ahem, Kazakhstan). However,

❌ I'm not on CS for dating etc.

I'm after social and intellectual connection. Couchsurfing for me is for cultural exchange and community-based travel.

🇬🇧🇺🇲 If you're an English teacher, I can go to your class to help. It was lots of fun doing it in Moldova and Kazkahstan.

💻 I tend to get along with IT people, though I'm not one myself.

🏃‍♀️ I'm not sporty because of poor coordination (unless you're exceptionally patient). I like walking, endlessly.

🇰🇿 A Couchsurfer from Kazakhstan (GuGu/Gulya) encouraged me to join. She's an amazing person, by the way.

Lots of reflections. I'm very open-minded about many topics and I like to discuss. Every trip is a little anthropology case study.
