Overview
About Me
I grew up in the woods of North Carolina and have always felt best outside. I am someone that cares deeply about the environment partly due to being raised by a mom that has a career in water protection and runs a non profit. That background motivated me to want to learn to build my own house with as many local and raw materials as possible. I did that instead of finishing college. I have always tried to have jobs that align with my values. During that time I worked at several alternative outdoor based schools. I have also dabled in organic farming and local food security issues. I love food and I love to cook.
However I am back in college! Being an older undergrad is surprisingly way more fun. I just got back from 7 months study abroad in Argentina and like everyone am trying to figure out this Covid life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am taking online classes with professors in Argentina and trying to find good people and places to stay since my house is still being rented (wasnt supposed to be back from Argentina but my program ended early). These have been more long term and with a couple family friends but thought I would give this a try.
