About Me
Hello!
I am a 24-year-old adventurer and Theatre Design and Production graduate. Theatre and the arts is my true passion and I hope to spend the rest of my life watching and creating productions with a hard-hitting message. Over the past few years, my knowledge and understanding of theatre has developed greatly and I love to converse with other people - particularly when they have some knowledge of the backstage elements. On my future travels, I hope to see contemporary and traditional theatre from different parts of the world, if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them!
I have a passion for low impact/ budget travelling - with hitchhiking being my favourite mode of transport. Meeting and often keeping in touch with so many amazing people enables me to feel free and content within the moment, and I thoroughly enjoy being on the move constantly. I love to explore nature and often travel with a tent in order respectfully wild camp after stumbling upon a beautiful place. Water, in the form of a lake or the sea, particularly draws me in and one day I hope the hitchhike around the entire coast of England and Wales (I absolutely love British beaches) rather than sticking to motorways as I often do now.
I was the LGBT+ officer for my university for two years and would consider myself passionate about gay rights. I try my best to keep up to date with the current situation and am always excited to converse with fellow LGBT+ Enthusiasts and Ally's.
My aim in life is to be happy and to be the best person that I can be. I appreciate interesting individuals and enjoy spending time getting to know new people, as well as my friends and loved ones. Sharing a meal, a walk around the city, a wild swim in a hidden lake, a bike ride, coffee or a spontaneous adventure are some of my favourite things and I would love the opportunity to share these experiences in my hometown and also as I journey across the world. I am planning a year+ hitchhike from Wales to Nepal in late 2018/ 2019 which will be my next big adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing about a year ago, after a few people recommended it as I hitchhiked across Europe. I love the idea of it because it takes away the formal business element, allowing open-minded individuals to converse and meet and restoring faith in humanity for many.
It's great to meet people from all walks of life, just like when Hitchhiking! I find CS a pleasant and accessible way of travelling and a good way to share and learn new skills. I am very grateful to those who have hosted me to date, and already have some unforgettable memories with those I have met!
