Honestly, I don't know how active this site even really is anymore, but given everything going on in the world, I think it's more important than ever that we seize any and all opportunities to share space and experiences with each each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love trying to get a real sense of a place when I travel- what average people's daily lives are like, how do the people see the world differently than I might be used to, etc, and the best way to do that seems to be immersing myself in a place by meeting locals!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Held galaxies in my hands- or at least that's what it seemed like to hold water full of bioluminescent algae up to my eyes on late summer nights in Sarasota (Florida).

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach- well I hope to be a proper teacher one day so a bit of everything :). Basic cooking, useless Harry Potter trivia, appreciation of accidental puns, how to get lost, etc.

Learn- oh man all of the things. Spanish! How to roll my Rs, how to raise one eyebrow, and I'd like to more completely learn how to whistle.

Share- food!, recipes, favorite spots in parks, maaaybe books but I'm protective of them :).
