After saving up for years, I finally decided to quit my job and see a bit of the world. This is my first time travelling solo and I'd love to meet new people and hopefully make new friends.

I consider myself a goth but travelling has made it difficult to keep up my usual look. I still listen to the likes of siouxsie and the banshees, sisters of mercy, the cure, etc. but it's been hard finding a proper goth club.

In my spare time I enjoy going for walks and being outdoors, going to gigs and having drinks with friends.

As a person I am naturally shy but travelling has made me more of an extrovert. I tend to click with people who don't take life too seriously and don't mind a dark sense of humour

I'm not sure what else to write so I'll just put one highlight from every country I've visited on my current adventure:

Thailand - visiting an elephant sanctuary and giving the elephants a mud bath
Cambodia - visiting S-21 and the killing fields (so heartbreaking but very important to learn about the history)
Vietnam - cycling through rice fields and the countryside
Laos - partying with locals to celebrate the lunar New year
Malaysia - walking through a prehistoric forest
Singapore - visiting the botanic Gardens and just being in nature
Hong Kong - walking through the local park and seeing lots of turtles
Japan - finding a local bathouse that let me in despite my tattoos (there were too many highlights to pick just one)
Indonesia - partying with the locals in Java after a day of surfing
Australia - all the amazing wildlife
Fiji - hands down the friendliest people I've ever met. Every local I spoke to was so genuinely kind and welcoming
